“Let’s go!” On the afternoon of March 4, at the departure hall of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, 39 foreign trade enterprises from Henan Province led by the Provincial Department of Commerce organized delegations to Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and other European countries to participate in exhibitions, hold activities, expand markets and grab orders .
GrindTec, the International Trade Fair for Tool Grinding and Tool Machining is an important stop of this trip. It is understood this exhibition is a well-known event in the international grinding technology industry, as well as an important trade platform for grinding enterprises in our province to enter the German and even European markets.
“This exhibition is highly compatible with the development of Henan industry.” Sun Zhaoda, Secretary-General of Superhard Materials Branch of China Machine Tool Industry Association, introduced that superhard material grinding tools are essential tools to support advanced manufacturing industries. In the field of technology research and development, Henan is at the leading level in China. In 2020, Henan Zhengzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone was approved as a national foreign trade transformation and upgrading base, with superhard materials as its main product. At present, the province’s super hard material industry chain related enterprises have developed to more than 400, with a total output value of about 40 billion CNY.
This time, relying on this exhibition, our province will hold an ‘exhibition within an exhibition’: Henan Export Commodities (Germany) Exhibition. The exhibition area is 654 square meters, with over 100 competitive products on display.
“The enthusiasm from enterprises to participate in the exhibition is very high, exceeding our expectations.” The relevant person in charge of the Provincial Department of Commerce introduced that affected by the epidemic last year, only 13 enterprises in our province participated in the exhibition, but the harvest was very fruitful. “This year, we originally planned to organize 30 enterprises to participate in the exhibition, but the actual number of exhibitors reached 39. The number of exhibitors not only hit a new high, but also the largest among all provinces in China.”

In addition to getting orders, obtaining industry information is also crucial.
